My name is ___ and I live in ___. I’m writing to you on behalf of the New Jersey Commuters Alliance, a grassroots organization whose goal is to advocate for smart, common sense transportation-related infrastructure projects that ease the burden for commuters, riders and passengers of all types.
Over the last decade, ridership levels on PATH have soared and fares have skyrocketed. Instead of increasing service and funding common sense infrastructure solutions, the State of New Jersey has stood by idly while passengers paid the price.
The bottom line: PATH service and conditions need to improve.
The New Jersey Commuters Alliance is mobilizing in support of common sense infrastructure projects designed to greatly reduce commute times, increase quality of life for residents, and stimulate economic activity throughout New Jersey. To meet this goal, we call on the State of New Jersey to adequately fund impactful infrastructure projects and increase weekday, weekend and night time PATH service.
